The "I Live Here Wear!" Story

From Idea to Reality

So, there I was...every summer, wandering around my hometown of Whitefish, Montana. There are a zillion tourists, all here to see Glacier National Park, go fishing or swimming in our 3223 named lakes and approximately 169,829 miles of river, wishing there was some way I could let merchants and employees of the stores I was always going in (Third Street Market...Health Food, Super One Foods, WBC Building Supply and more) that I LIVED HERE! I'm not one of THEM!

Being creative to a fault, I started thinking about a way to do this. Why not just create a simple t-shirt/sweatshirt line for tourist towns all over America (to start). And given my usual drive to do many of the things I think of, I decided to give it a go by designing a shirt for myself.

One thing led to another, people started asking me where I got the cool shirt (locals only) and well, that's really the end of the story and the beginning of a really fun business that helps locals let other locals they're 'one of them.'
